Ingredients of Vegetarian Carrot Sabzi

  1. It's 2 table spoon of olive/sunflower oil.
  2. It's 1/2 teaspoon of sesame seeds.
  3. It's 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
  4. You need 2-3 of green chillies, finely chopped.
  5. You need of Curry leaves(optional).
  6. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon of Turmeric powder.
  7. Prepare 1 of medium sized onion, finely chopped.
  8. Prepare 2-3 of carrots, finely chopped.
  9. It's 1 tablespoon of Tamarind pulp.
  10. You need of Coriander leaves, finely chopped.
  11. It's of Salt.

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin and sesame seeds and let their color change..
  2. Add Curry leaves, green chillies and onion, mix well and sort till the onion is golden color..
  3. Add Turmeric powder, carrots, salt and mix well..
  4. Add tamarind pulp and add 1 cup of water and cook for 10-15 minutes, till the carrots are soft enough..
  5. Serve hot with chapatis and rice, garnished with the coriander leaves..
